IBS has recently closed a round of funding which in combination with five Government grants will help it produce and place prototype instruments in the field.

George Church Joins IBS Scientific Advisory Board. Dr George Church is a renowned expert and innovator in DNA sequencing and many other important molecular biology methods. He has developed breakthrough DNA synthesis and sequencing technologies and has a longstanding relationship with a number of IBS's key scientists.
